Enabling nanoliter reactions for Molecular
Diagnostics. Parallabs, Inc has received application information
from Exact Sciences, Inc of successful implementation of their Pre-Gen
Plus™ test for early detection of colorectal cancers (CRC)
and neoplasias on the Parallab 350® automated

The Parallab 350 utilizes the
proprietary Nano-Pipetter™ to aspirate small and accurate
reagent volumes, perform the thermal cycling, and complete all of
the purification steps in 96 miniature glass capillary tubes working
in parallel. Each reagent is aspirated, mixed, thermal cycled
and purified before finally being dispensed into an output plate
for analysis. After each sample run, the Nano-Pipetter is
cleaned and reused, greatly reducing the amount and cost of consumables
normally associated with conventional processing methods. Nanoliter
scale reaction volumes and integrated automation make the Parallab
350 a cost effective tool for clinical and research DNA sequencing
